Brakes & Clutches​

We use Genuine and OEM replacement components as required to suit your vehicle and budget. MOT Testing​
Here at Minster Mechanics, we undertake MOT Testing for your Car, Motorbike or Van.
We can carry out Class 1, 2, 4, 5 and 7 MOT tests for our customers.

Computerised Diagnostics
Are you driving with a dashboard warning light on? Don't worry, bring your vehicle to us and we can perform a diagnostics check to determine the fault and advise you how it can be repaired.
Whatever vehicle you have, using one of our diagnostic computers we are able to read the fault that caused the light to illuminate and diagnose the probable cause.
At Minster Mechanics we have taken a keen interest in the use of computer based diagnostic and fault finding, investing heavily in the latest equipment to ensure we are able to deal with most vehicles on the roads today.

Air Conditioning Systems
Minster Mechanics are fully equipped and trained to service and re-gas your Air-Con system in your car or van. Air-Con systems not fully recharged will be less effective and have to work harder putting more strain on the engine and using more fuel. If your Air-Con system has not been recharged in 2 years it will dramatically reduce efficiency.
During warmer weather motorists use the Air-Con system more; however your system is also useful in winter. Air-Con creates dry warm air rather than the humid air from outside and will de-mist your windscreen quicker.
If you book your car in for a service, then we can re-gas your air conditioning system at a reduced price if it's done at the same time. Normal stand-alone pricing for this service is from £50.00 + VAT so plan ahead and save more money today!

We undertake servicing of all makes and models, Diagnostics, Repairs, MOT testing and repair work, Tyres, Chain and sprocket replacement, Fork servicing, Brake servicing, Clutch replacement etc and much, much more.
We supply and fit both O.E. Factory Genuine parts as well as quality aftermarket items. We can supply oil filters, air filters, fuel filters, wheel bearings, headstock steering bearings, chain and sprocket kits, brake caliper repair kits etc…
We also supply DID, Triple S, and Renthal chains. A vast range of drive sprockets are available to order.
